DPS Warangal Athletes Shine in CBSE Cluster 7
In a moment of great pride, DPS Warangal celebrated the outstanding achievements of its athletes in the CBSE Cluster 7 athletic meet on October 31, 2023. These students showcased exceptional dedication and talent, making their school proud on a global stage.
Key highlights of their achievements:
– P. Manoj: Secured two gold medals in the 100m and 200m races, earning the Best Athlete title in the under 17 category.
– S. Karthik: Won a Silver medal in Shotput and a Bronze in Discus, displaying prowess in field events.
– Anis: Earned a Bronze medal in the 100m race for the under-19 category.
– Anis, G. Rahul, Manas Futan, and N. Koushik Reddy: Collaborated to win two Bronze medals in the 4x100m and 4x400m relay events, showcasing exceptional teamwork.
– M. Sanketh: Clinched a Bronze medal in boxing in the 70 to 75 weight category, demonstrating determination in the ring.
These achievements reflect the students’ dedication and talent. P. Manoj and S. Karthik have been selected to represent the school at the Nationals which will be conducted at N.H Goel World School, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, highlighting their remarkable journey from the school’s fields to a national stage.
