Arsenal football club conducted National Level. Five-a-side youth futsal (football) championship in Bangalore at Deccan football Club. We are delighted to share with you that our DPS Warangal football team got a chance to participated in Arsenal football club tournament.
The teams were divided into two pools A & B. Each pool had 8 teams. Our DPS Warangal team was in Pool “A”. Our team played 4 matches. We won the 1st match with 9-1 goals against Andhra Pradesh team, 2nd match with 3-0 goals against Bangalore team and 3rd match with 2-0 win against Hosur Public School Bangalore.
These three major victories helped our team enter finals. The DPS Warangal team gave their best in the neck-to-neck competition against Chennai team in the finals and stood runner up in Pool-A with 2-3 goals.
