The State Government of Telangana is organizing the sports and games in the state as per the guidelines of School Games Federation of India. Students of Delhi Public School, Warangal have secured impressive positions and medals in these competitions.
In the Under 15 Age Category of the District-Level Chess Competitions held at New Science PG College, Hanmakonda, on 20 November, 2022, the First Place was bagged by M. Sai Ganesh Reddy from IX Grade, the Second Place by Md. Asif, X Grade and the Fourth Place by K. Shreyas, X Grade. In the Under 13 Age Category of the Competitions, our school student, K.Shiteesh Jha of VIII Grade secured the Third Place. In the Under 11 Age Category of the Competitions, our school student, G. Vidhyadhan, of V Grade secured the Second Place. In the same category, M. Abhinav Reddy, VI Grade the Best Player Award. A total number of 13 students have participated in these competitions from all the categories from our school.
In the other event, the District-Level Junior Boys’ Boxing Selections, held at Adilabad, on 20 November 2022, M. Sanket, IX Grade was selected to play in the State-Level event at Hyderabad on 26 and 27 November 2022, in the Heavy Weight Category.
The Chairman, The Principal and the Vice Principal appreciated and congratulated the students who won the medals and good positions in these competitions.
SWIMMING
Indian Aquatic Charminar Cup – 2022 was held at Gachibowli Stadium, Hyderabad on 19 & 20 November 2022. In these competitions T. Rishikesh, IX Grade secured the Bronze medal in 50 metre Free Style Swimming Competition from Delhi Public School, Warangal.
The Chairman, The Principal and the Vice Principal appreciated and congratulated the student who won the medal in these competitions.
