Admissions process for DPS Hanamkonda
The age criteria for admission is as follows-
- Class: Pre-Nursery - 3 years as on 30th of June, 2025 (Child should have been born in between 30th June, 2022 and 1st July, 2021)
- Class: Nursery (L.K.G./PP 1) - 4 years as on 30th of June, 2025 (Child should have been born in between 30th June, 2021 and 1st July, 2020)
- Class: Prep. (U.K.G./PP 2) - 5 years as on 30th of June, 2025 (Child should have been born in between 30th June, 2020 and 1st July, 2019)
- Class: I - 6 years as on 30th of June, 2025 (Child should have been born in between 30th June, 2019 and 1st July, 2018)
- Class: II - 7 years as on 30th of June, 2025 (Child should have been born in between 30th June, 2018 and 1st July, 2017)
An oral interaction session with the kids is held at the time of admission. Based on this interaction students are given admission into appropriate classes. For grades 1 and 2, a written assessment is carried out in which the reading, writing, speaking and comprehension skills are assessed.
