“DPS Warangal believes in keeping each child in the pink of her/his health.” The safety of the students is one of the major focal points at Delhi Public School Warangal. An Infirmary, a health centre, and a clinic in school were set up on the school premises. The dedicated School Infirmary is looked after by two experienced nurses. It functions round the clock, providing first aid and immediate medical attention for day scholars, as well as residential students.
Additionally, for residential students, a doctor visits the premises every day, to ensure that any child that’s unwell is well-looked after, in a timely manner. If the doctor believes that a child needs special medical attention, the parents are informed and specialist doctors are contacted.
Some of the necessary facilities at the Infirmary to address the immediate health needs of the students are here:
Parents are requested not to send sick children to school for attending classes or for appearing for examinations. This is in the interest of the child and at times his/her classmates, as well. Medical Certificates must be submitted so that the child’s results are not affected.
Parents are advised to keep the school infirmary updated regarding the medical conditions/ health problems which may have developed during the academic year.
